Community Involvement

After personally being affected and feeling the impact of charity during Hurricane Katrina, Emmett and his family realize the importance of giving back. Emmett volunteers with the St. Bernard Recreation Department as a coach and has been doing so for 16 years.

Emmett has also seen the impact that Salvation Army has made on his community and has volunteered for them for several years during the holiday season as a bell ringer. In addition, Emmett and his wife Jennifer donate their time and efforts to the Our Lady of Prompt Succor School in Chalmette as co-chairpersons of the annual OLPS Who's Who? and have volunteered for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Emmett and his family are members of the Old Arabi Neighborhood Association, and Emmett belongs to the Firemens Charitable and Benevolent Association.

Emmett and his team helped to fight hunger in South Louisiana by volunteering at the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Our team had the opportunity to support the St. Tammany Hospital Foundation and the St. Tammany Cancer Center at The Gala, an annual fundraising event to support local cancer care. Our thanks to all the sponsors and organizers of this event!
