Community Involvement

In 2005, Emmett and his family were decimated due to Hurricane Katrina. Choosing to rebuild in the community he loved so much, he and his family have witnessed great improvements to the Greater New Orleans area. In 2012, Emmett created a function he called Pay It Forward/Pay It Back to help those affected by Hurricane Isaac. This involved asking those who received assistance in 2005 to pay it back and for those who haven't lost anything to pay it forward in their life. The group raised over $25,000 for eight families whose lives were impacted by the storm in Plaquemine Parish. The coordination of 80+ individuals to help these families gut and clean out their homes was very impactful to the community. He has taken a gratitude approach to life and gives back time and effort to help foundations and charities.

Bienville Capital Group was a proud sponsor of the Mutts to Models Gala. This special event benefited the St. Tammany Parish Department of Animal Services, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Covington, and Mardi Paws-Scott’s Wish.

Financial Literacy is something we work hard to promote daily, so it was our pleasure to support Junior Achievement of New Orleans by participating in the 2021 Crescent City Corporate Championship. 100% of the proceeds from this tournament goes toward teaching young people the importance of being workforce ready and understanding the importance of free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and personal finance literacy.

Emmett Dupas and Dylan Hoon were back in the studio at WYES taping a spot to air during the Rick Steves’ Travel Series and for the 2022 Rex Ball and Meeting of the Courts of Rex and Comus! Our team is a proud sponsor of WYES/PBS New Orleans as they aim to provide quality content to educate, inform, and inspire our community!

THANK YOU to all the healthcare heroes who tirelessly care for our community! The surge in COVID cases in our area put an emotional and physical strain on local healthcare workers. Bienville Capital Group showed their support to the St. Tammany Health System hospital staff by donating 400 meals to them at the start of the pandemic and again during the summer of 2021.

Meal Donation

Bienville Capital Group spent the morning at Second Harvest Food Bank working on a project that will get food that would have otherwise gone to waste, into the hands of people who need it. Thank you to all of the volunteers who continually help to fight hunger in South Louisiana! Bienville Capital Group proud to further support Second Harvest Food Bank annually by participating in the Rubber Duck Derby, their signature annual fundraiser.
